Personality
Kado can usually be seen accompanying his rival-companion Mai. Around her, he takes up the role of an anti-hero who plays up theatrics to the umpteenth degree. This leads others to believe that he has a form of middle-school syndrome when it is quite the contrary. In contrast to his cartoonish persona, he is truthfully a jaded individual who views the world through a darkened lens. He often mocks others and takes satisfaction in breaking down those who he finds to be selfish and two-faced. He is rather competitive, treating life itself like a game to bring some excitement to his life. With the assistance of his Flow ability, Kado initiates games that may quickly take a grisly turn. Depending on the end result, he will offer what he refers to as 'enlightenment' or 'damnation'. He has since moderated the frequency of this activity partly due to his respect for Mai and her dramatic pleas. Biography Kado was born into a family that led a tough, but modest and honest lifestyle. His father owned an entertainment store that struggled competing against Moji owned businesses. Seeing how much his father labored, Kado felt compelled to study business and alleviate his family's growing stress. Their business would soon find major success with Kado being the driving force behind its operations. Their venture would focus primarily on distributing BURST cards, as it was a profitable investment that swept the world. Having traded his childhood in exchange for success, the boy had come to realize that the world was dark and cold. A sliver of warmth would not come tumbling in until one year, the transfer student Mai Yagiyu appeared. The two would form a close bond and later began attending the same school of higher education. |
